starting on Wednesday at around 5 pm, the ensuing 24 hours were excellent.
Wednesday: i ran into the Hiring Officer for Campus Security, who said that my interview went well enough that he would be interested in having me go on a Ride-Along, the next step in the hiring process. most excellent.
Thursday morning: in Spanish class, I got my exam back... 94%! yeah!! and i had studied for it, so that made it extra-special. although my studying partner got a C+, so i suppose that we'll study more next time. but still!! I got an A!
Wednesday night: went to see "Lucky Number Slevin". MOST excellent. highly recommend.
Thursday midday: i got a nap. it wasn't entirely planned (i pretty much laid down on Meagan's bed to talk to her and wait to study for our upcoming Crim test, and passed out), but entirely enjoyable.
Thursday afternoon: the guy who I sit next to in Geography was high, and it was funny.
later Thursday afternoon: took the Crim test, and aced it. it helped that i knew what TCP/IP was, and had a working knowledge of the EEA.
hmm.... ok, and that was my 24-hour period of funness. life is good. and my Ride-Along is tonight at 9... hope it goes well!

fishes!! and frogs!!
it's true. I, Meghan, am now the proud houser of five fish and two frogs. they are as follows:
Frogs: I have two, and they are named Ramses the Frog, and His Mistress Lillith (Ramses and Lillith for short). The picture at left is kind of what they look like... although Lillith is more pinkish, and Ramses is more of a greyish colour.
Guppies: two males and one female. The males are named Bullwinkle and Flash, and the female is Calypso. Dad named Bullwinkle, and Meagan named Flash and Calypso. it's most excellent.

Albino Cory: his name is Dr. House. I let my sister name him... wanna guess what show she was watching at the time?

Chinese Algae-Eater: his name is Darth. Obviously, he is darker in colour than the pictured one, but this was the best I could find at the moment. Kyle named him (again, an obvious choice)
Other than these babies, nothing much is new here. My ears are getting better from their double infection (meaning both were infected, not that one was infected in two locations). I got my Easter Basket in the form of a USPS box lovingly wrapped by my mother, who will be going out for a lovely brunch with most of my family in about 8 hours. I, on the other hand, will be waking up, wandering down a couple of floors, and hoping that Kyle made something special. Anya, if you happen to read this, let Mom know that I got the Hawaii Juice, ok? (family tradition to have a certain kind of concentrated juice every Easter morning with cinnamon rolls)
Thinking and thinking and thinking.... and nothing else is coming to mind. I hope everybody had an awesome weekend, and I'll see some of you on Monday! cheers!
yay for 108!!
